JANMASHTAMI,THE BIRTHDAY OF SHRI KRISHNA IN MATHURA.

It is a  festival of  in Hindus which was known as Krishnastami,  Saatam Aatham, Gokulashtami, Yadukulashtami, Srikrishna Jayanti also called Krishna janmashtmi. It is a birthday of  Shri Krishna , the eighth avatar of Vishnu.On this day temples were decorated and people take fast and in night at 12 am they open their fast and do pooja of Shri Krishna and visit temples for darshan of Shri Krishna.On this day kite flying and fair, fasting, traditional dishes were made and Dahi Handi  celebrated next day.

At the starting of Dwaparyuga there was a  raising of demons and Kans on earth , they harm the devotees of Shri Vishnu and spread adharma , for the welfare of his devotees he decided to take birth as Krishna on earth. When there was a marriage of Kans sister Devaki with Vasudeva, there was akashvani that the eighth son of Devaki or Vasudeva was a kaal of Kans after listening this he want to kill his sister but Vasudev  request to not to kill and they were prisoned and Kans also prisoned his father .One by one Kans killed six children of Devaki and Vasudeva and when there is a  birth of seventh son it was shifted by god to Vasudeva another wife Rohini womb and it was born as Balarama ,the big brother of Krishna. After the Krishna birth bhagwan Vishnu informed them that they born as their son and they helped them to shift Krishna from Mathura prison to Gokul to Nandbaba house and came back in Mathura prision with daughter of Nandbaba. When Kans came to kill their child and start kill it was a mata yogmaya and informed that the god was shifted to another place and it was safe. after that it was celebrated as Krishna birthday.

KRISHNA BIRTH FAST

It was fast of 24 hours and after offering the prayers of bhagwan Krishna in midnight, they break the fast with bhog they prepared for the deity. This year it is celebrated on 30 August from 11:59 pm to 12:44 am on 31 August.

Pooja vidhi 

Take the oath of observing a fast keeping your face in the east or north direction, Keep mother Devki and bhagwan Krishna idol or picture in a swing.Take the names of Devki, Vasudev, Balram, Nand, Yashoda in the puja and celebrate bhagwan  Krishna birthday after midnight.

Third battle of Panipat

THIRD BATTLE OF PANIPAT   This battle took place in Panipat on 14 January 1761, at Panipat, about 60 miles north of Delhi between northern expeditionary force of the Maratha Empire and the king of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Durrani with two Indian Muslim allies-The Rohilla Afghans of the Doab, and Shuja-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Oudh. Background of the 3rd Battle of Panipat The decline of  Mughal empire following the 27 year Mughal Martha war(1680-1707) had led to rapid territorial gains for the Maratha empire. Under Peshwa Baji Rao Gujarat, Malwa came under Maratha empire. Finally, In 1737, Baji rao defeated Mughals on the outskirts of Delhi and bring much to former Mughal territories south of Delhi in his territory. After that the battle was fought between Mughals and the Marathas, both sides around 60000-70000 people give up their lives.
