VIJAYNAGARA EMPIRE- A STRONG EMPIRE OF V SOUTH INDIA
This empire is known as the karnata kingdom,it was based in a Deccan plateau region of a south india. It was established by the Harihara and Bukka raya of the sangam dynasty, they was a members of the pastoralist cowherd community that claimed yadava lineage. It was established in 1336. It capital was vijaynagara, penukonda, chandragiri, vellore . It lasted at 1646 althrough its power declined after the major military defeat in the battle of talikota in the 1565 by the combind armies of the Deccan sultanates. The empire was named after its capital city of vijaynagara , whose ruins surround near the Hampi , today its was world heritage site in karnataka, india .

Before the early 14 century rise of a vijaynagara empire , thev hindu states of the Deccan -the yadava empire of devagiri, the kakatiya dynasty of warangal , and the pandyan empire of madurai - were repeatedly radied attacted by muslims from the north. In 1336 harihara and bukka established control over vijaynagara and make it a strong empire in south india . It gained control over the krishna river.After sometime its was declined ans ruled by saluva dynasty. they ruled for a quite period of time, after that taluva dynasty was established. krishandeva raya was a famous ruler of the taluva dynasty. During the control of krishandevraya it control most of the south India. During their rule theirvwas good economy.Their was good army system under Krishandevraya , Their was virupaksha temple and vitthala temple .
