India got independence from British at 14 August at midnight 12 am and Pandit  Jawaharlal  Nehru gave his first speech of free India named Tyrst and Destiny.Gandhi doesn't listen that speech because he went to sleep that day.15 August is also independence day of three other countries also named south korea, japan in 1945, Britian and Barhin in 1971 and France and kongo in 1960.According to source that from early years to this day India doesnot have any national anthem . Ravindranath tagore was written national anthem in 1911 but it came into launch in 1950.  15 August tak India and Pakistan in between  Bordor was not finalised, this decision was finialised on  17 August . On 15 August  occasion Gandhi  was not part of this occasion  because he was on  strike in west Bengal to supress revolt b/w Hindus and Muslims.

BACKGROUND HISTORY

Early India was ruled by British and they ruled over 200 years on India. They ruled badly on India but they do certain developments in India. Their were various strikes and fight for freedom against British. There were various Tradgies Jaliyawala bagh and chauri-chaura and many more. Earlier Independence day was celebrated on 26 January in 1930. 
But actually we gain freedom on 15 August 1947.

WHY 26 JANUARY CELEBRATED AS REPUBLIC DAY

Earlier on 26 January in 1930 first independence day is celebrated against the British. After this incident , it took 17 years to gain freedom from British.

AFTER 75 YEARS OF FREEDOM

Every independence day PM of India hosted a flag and give speech about their plans for developments of  India. At 14 August 2021  PM Shri Narendra Modi take a big decision that the 
decision that on the remembrance of partition of India and Pakistan and the people who dead in it . This day is celebrated as the 'Vibhajan vibishika smriti divas'.
